This years lineup is pretty diverse ranging from thrash metal to traditional rock n roll. So let us take you band by band and make sure you know exactly what you need to see!

  • letlive.
    Post Hardcore
    Los Angeles, CA
Looking for a highly energetic and politically charged set that’s in your face? Look no further in day 1 then letlive from Los Angeles. Known for getting up close and personal with fans during their live sets, letlive are all about making sure everyone is involved. Fresh off the release of their 4th LP, If I’m The Devil …, the band is ready to unleash their explosive energy and fury upon the aftershock masses. Blending styles of metalcore / post hardcore and spinning it with a little soul, letlive will get you moving and grooving in no time!

  • Silver Snakes
    Rock
    Los Angeles, CA
Bringing their own stylized blend of doom, industrial and good ol’ rock n roll are Los Angeles’ Silver Snakes.  Taking elements that at time feel similar to Deftones but meeting with the industrial heaviness of festival headliners Tool, they offer up a sound that is sure to resonate with the Aftershock crowd. The band released their 3rd LP earlier this year titled “Saboteur”, an amazing album if I can say so myself, and are set to get the crowd going for day 2 of Aftershock!

  • Death Angel
    Thrash Metal
    Bay Area, CA
Emerging from a thriving 80’s thrash metal scene in the Bay Area, Death Angel played along side all of the greats like Metallica, Anthrax and Slayer. Death Angel was one of the key pieces that brought the 80’s thrash metal to the masses with their blistering riffs and neck breaking grooves. Their near three decade career has spawned 8 albums, the most recent The Evil Divide was released May of this year to very positive reviews. Death Angel is certain to kick things off properly at day 1 of Aftershock with their intense high energy stage show! Get there early, grab a beer and rage with Death Angel!
